In June 2002, a 270 million-year-old ?ghidden words stone?h was discovered in Guizhou, China. A crack that formed 500 years ago in a large stone revealed six clearly discernible Chinese characters; the characters represent ?gThe Chinese Communist Party Collapses [Zhong Guo Gong Chan Dang Wang].?h The character ?gcollapse?h is especially large. The official media in Mainland China have all reported this news, but they have hidden the word ?gcollapse?h and only mention the written words ?gThe Chinese Communist Party.?h However, the word ?gcollapse?h can be clearly seen in photos posted on the People?fs Daily Online and state-run media Xinhua.net.
Pingtang is a high mountain valley in Guizhou Province in southwestern China. Zhangbu Village is a scenic spot spanning over 6 kilometers (3.73 miles). The area is isolated, and has remained relatively untouched by humans. In June 2002, the Duyun international photography exposition recommended this area as a scenic spot for taking photographs. During routine cleaning of the area, this ?ghidden words stone?h was discovered.
The ?ghidden words stone?h was split in half after it fell from a cliff, and the gap is wide enough for two people to walk through side-by-side. The two sections are each 7 meters (23 feet) in length, nearly 3 meters (10 feet) tall, and weigh about 100 tons. The neatly written words ?gThe Chinese Communist Party Collapses?h can be clearly seen on one of the sections, and every character is nearly a square foot in size.
